Jingge Dong | Senza Pietre non c'e' Arco
2020
The Minerva bookshop, in Padua, presents the solo exhibition by Jingge Dong, Without stones there is no arch, from 10 to 27 September 2020. The title is taken from a dialogue between Marco Polo and Kublai Kan in "The invisible cities", by Italo Calvino. Dong, a young Chinese artist who has lived in Venice for years, presents about twenty paintings on paper, made expressly for the project curated by Roberto Nardi, which have in their being suggestions, ideal assonances, without any relationship in terms of possible representation, with the 'work of Calvino. The exhibition is promoted in collaboration with the Galleria L'Ariete, of Bologna.
